DSCN2186This is a Pashley Courier from 2007ish & made originally for Thorntons Chocolate Company. One in each colour of their chocolate wrappers….

A well made frame, but let down with cheapo steel chromed components. (Lots of rust) I’ve replaced the original bars, stem etc. & fitted a Shimano 7 speed hub in place of the original Sturmey 3 speed. It rides very well right now: )

I had to buy the basket cradle from Pashley (£90: ) but now it is ready to deliver Pizza etc. in the hilliest UK districts: )

With a 24″ front wheel & 26″ rear it looks slightly odd to me without the basket cradle, but rides like a traditional 3 speed roadster to me as seen here!

A very interesting & quirky bike I say. But that’s exactly what I like: )

Headed for ebay shortly. I’m de-cluttering here: )
